Does my parent need an Apple Watch?
No. Most features — including phone-based suspected-fall alerts, activity, check-ins, medications, and location — work with just their iPhone. An Apple Watch adds live health monitoring like heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep.
Will WellChime call 911 in an emergency?
No. WellChime alerts your family and shows the delivery status honestly, but it is not an emergency service and does not contact responders. In an emergency, always call 911.
How much does it cost?
WellChime Free is free forever for the whole family — both parents (Mom and/or Dad) and unlimited family members and caregivers. WellChime Complete, which adds suspected-fall alerts + voice, all 17 health signals, medications, location, and doctor-ready reports, is $29/month per family. You start with a 30-day free trial of Complete, then keep the free plan or upgrade anytime.
Can my parent turn sharing off?
Yes, always. Your parent controls what is shared and can pause monitoring or location from their own phone at any time. Consent is the foundation of WellChime.
How do I cancel?
In the app under Account, or through the Stripe billing portal link in your receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Is my family’s data sold or used for ads?
Never. No data sales, no advertising, and health data is used only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
